AHHHH!

It is essay writing time and as usual, I have not done enough early on and now I am totally screwed. I don't know why I always think that with a looming deadline I'll suddenly be able to write at superhero speed. What was I thinking!?!? No time for such questions though, back to it!

Snowy Days

These are a bit old by now, but since it is a cold day (no snow thankfully though!), I'll put them up. A scant couple months ago when I put them up, days like today seemed warm but I'm glad to say, now they seem relatively cool!

Library

It is a beautiful Saturday and I spent a scant amount of time enjoying the weather. Primarily though, it has been all work, so here are some pictures of the library!!

People...

I've taken up reading the post secret blog, which has apparently been around for a long time, but is new to me. Basically, people send a guy postcards with "secrets" on them and he posts them. I find it fascinating. Some of them are heart breaking and some amusing, others a bit uplifting or even sappy depending on your perspective. Anyway, it's an interesting experiment/insight into human psychology. It's also a bit voyeuristic, which is what brings me back to my photos of strangers, which is also voyeuristic in some ways. I like the pictures in part because I think people look cool going about their daily lives. I think the photos provide an interesting view of the world and a place, etc. I like that you don't know the people and are looking at them more in terms of composition and style than for who is in the pictures. It's about capturing a moment, not a person. But of course, I also like them because they tell a story, but without much information, which allows for imagination...

Working Late

Normally, I would post a picture of Winston sleeping or something to go with late night working, but there have been a lot of Winston posts lately, so this will do instead. Like any good writing project, if it were say 8:30pm instead of 1:30am, this would be going great, but alas, who needs sleep!?! (Obviously, not me, otherwise I would be writing instead of breaking to post...short break though)

I didn't take this particular picture, but it came from camera, so I'm posting it anyway (B took it. He would like credit apparently).
