My mom just got a new dog! Ruby. Here is the picture she sent.

Downtown

Its actually been nice the last couple days (cooler again today though!), so I made my way downtown for to take pictures of people out and about enjoying the weather, waiting for the bus, etc. (In the rare event, I took your picture and you want me to take it down, just let me know).

 

 

 

 

I should be writing

 

I'm staring at a blank page and the couch looks so nice. I'm hoping for inspiration soon...If it doesn't come, I'm going to have to break out one of those self-help writing books and I'm just not sure I'm ready to go there.

Addition

 

When I'm not wishing it was warm and I was off on a traveling adventure, I wish I were a cat. Seriously, he spends his day sleeping and looking out the window with a little eating and petting thrown in for good measure. Might be a little boring, but then so is sitting in the library, so what's not to love!

Writing........

Dissertations and Winter never end. So I'm sitting here trying to write a chapter, thinking of spring, and hoping the few days of warmer weather we've been having hold out until I send this thing off! Actually today it is raining, which is perfect for writing, but if it snows again next week.....
